The Alan-Michael and Lucy Reunion…

Hello my fellow Alan-Michael and Lucy fans! It feels like I have waited years for this Locher Room reunion. As you may have guessed with my labor of love Remembering Alan-Michael and Lucy  that I was a huge LAM fan. So I was so super excited when Alan Locher announced that Rick Hearst and Sonia Satra would be joining him on one of his virtual reunions.

And that day is finally here. So without further ado The LAM REUNION

After watching it myself I really liked how they each saw how special Alan-Michael and Lucy and their romance were.

Some other highlights include:

  • Rick Hearst meeting Michael Zaslow in Paris and introducing himself .
  • How each acknowledged how impactful Lucy’s rape storyline was and the subsequent HIV and Marion Crane story was built off of the tragedy.
  • Love how Rick Hearst spoke about how well-written Lucy’s rape storyline was, and that his character was not some white knight savior but that Lucy is the one who took back her power.
  • Agree with how Alan-Michael and Lucy’s wedding was a let down. These two characters had been through so much (and Alan-Michael was a billionaire) and they get married at Universal Studios.
  • One thing I love about all the Locher Room reunions is how the actors who were in the younger set speak with such reverence about working the veteran actors. Icons such as Michael Zaslow, Beverlee McKinsey, Ron Raines…they made their mark on the industry.
  • I do wish Frank Beatty had been available because that Brent Lawrence/Marion Crane storyline was truly epic. Back when soaps were still able to shock and awe.

It’s a Many Faces of Marah Reunion!

Alan Locher is at it again! This time he is have a reunion featuring the many actresses that portrayed Marah Lewis, including my favorite Lindsey McKeon.

Also featured will be Robert Newman and Kim Zimmer and Jeff Branson who played Shayne Lewis. It is sure to be a great reunion.

You can find it streaming online on Wednesday July 22nd at 2 PM Central here
